The Mass

Today we have two pictures dealing with The Mass. The bottom pictured, entitled: The Mass was done several years ago and was my first foray into dealing with this obscure idea. The Top picture, entitled: Priestess of The Mass, is more recent and deals with one of the twisted caretakers of this engine of lost souls. Enjoy. SVII

Dominion.

Two pictures of the horror that is Mount Bloodcrown, Dominator's seat of power. The top picture is entitled: Bloodcrown, the bottom picture is entitled Deep Within. Enjoy. SVII

Snow.

A little something thrown together I've entitled: Frozen Mountains. Enjoy. SVII

Unfinished.

The idea for this picture goes way back, and yet this is the most I think I've ever done with it, save for a ball point pen sketch which I happened on too not so long ago. It doesn't have a title, as I haven't done a proper version of it yet, but I put it up here as an indication of one of those many works in progress I have yet to fully realize. Enjoy. SVII

Clan Thurmnt.

This is my homage to the great Drvarven Clan Thurmnt! With thi piece, the title is out there in the open , and it is called: Father and Son, Of course the natty bearded one on the left is called Taghor Sr. and the brutish looking one on the right is called Taghor Jr. Enjoy. SVII

The Collage

I will often sit down with a marker and wander around inside my head until something like these two pieces emerge. The one on top is entitled: Corruption. Dealing with Dominator's narrow views upon his Master's talent, all he can produce is a corruption of what he can't understand. The one on the bottom is lacking a title, but I see it as a woman looking into the unknown, and seeing that which may entice or terrify her. Enjoy. SVII

The Storm...

This piece is an oil pastel on black paper that I have entitled: Dominion's Storm. Enjoy. SVII

Revisions

One of the interesting things you can do with the digital medium is play around with different picture styles. This one, entitled Sands, is one I doodled in the sketchbook one day, scanned it in, and put a blue sky behind it. Blue sky never quite rang true with me, so I went back and added the rainy sky motif, which I like more. Enjoy. SVII

Helloween.

Yet another one that sat on the shelf for a while before I got around to finishing it. This one I've entitled: Green Light, after a certain song with a similar name. Enjoy. VII

A couple more and then I'm done for the day. On the left I have the picture titled: Inner Sanctum. On the right I have Guardian making his first appearance here in the picture titled: Evil's Lair. The bones in that picture were a massive headache and hence the reason it took me almost a year to complete. Enjoy. SVII

Well, now that I know things are working, here are a couple of other pictures. The one on the top was a CD insert for a music collection I put together for my cousin, hence the strange composition. I think of that one as being titled: Angry. The picture below is something I threw together while I was experimenting with white charcoal on black paper. I had just read H.P. Lovcraft's short story Polaris, and in my mind's eye that's kind of how I saw it. So that one is entitled: Polaris. Enjoy. VII

A New Day

So I've chosen to use this little corner of the interweb to display my artwork to the general public. Anyone is free to comment on what they see here and hopefully it isn't all bad. Throwing up the last picture I scanned in. Haven't thought of a title for it yet. Enjoy. SVII
